A modern expression of Moroccan craftsmanship.
SHARAGAN began with a journey to Morocco in 2012. For founder Sharon Taitz, whose mother was born in Casablanca, the textures, colors and embroidery felt both new and deeply familiar — a connection to childhood memories of a grandmother who sewed clothing by hand.
How it began
Alongside her career as an employment lawyer, Sharon was deeply involved in international community work and served as world president of Women’s Circle in 2011–2012. Her travels through Africa brought her to Morocco, where she began creating pieces for herself. Friends soon asked for their own, and a brand gradually took shape.
SHARAGAN brings together contemporary design, feminine and comfortable silhouettes, natural fabrics and traditional embroidery. The result is clothing designed to feel distinctive, effortless and personal.
Why SHARAGAN?
The name was inspired by argan oil, one of Sharon’s favorite Moroccan products. While working in Morocco, local craftspeople began calling her “Sharagan” as an affectionate nickname. It eventually became the name of the brand.
